John Guest has announced it is extending the guarantee on its core plumbing range from 25 years to 50 years.
Its Speedfit products are said to be assessed at every stage of production to ensure they meet the standards expected, through weighing, measuring and checking all fittings using robotic and visual technology.
Other tests include subjecting pipes and fittings to fluctuating temperatures and pressures, in excess of the operating pressure, as well as products being verified for resistance against water hammer, force, impact and chemical exposures.…
